A milkcarton for my friends ♥♥

I have some wonderful friends in Bergen ♥
And since I am on vacation at the moment I had to make them a giftbox before I left home.
I filled the box with some Yankee Candle products and the whole box smelled so good I am sure even my mailman noticed!

I made a milkcartong for them, as I think they look supercute ♥
And I have again used the wonderful Pion papers, from Alma's sewingroom together with the wonderful craft from Joy!Craft

I have decorated all the sides with some cuts from the Pion papers, some ribbon, flowers, buttons and pearls

On the top I have a clip from Kreativ Scrapping and a chain from TH

Some poems and small stamped texts here and there

Made a paper roll with a text saying:
The best things in life are good friends

I think all the pictures on the papers are so wonderful and even if I LOVE to colour I decided this was enough ♥

That was all today my friends.
I would really love to hear your thoughts about these papers and my projects.
Kreativ Scrapping has all my supplies in the shop here.

Warm hugs from a sunny Thailand♥♥

Pion papers in my heart...

I love the wonderful design papers from Pion.. I mean ALL of them :)
The new Collection called Alma's sewing room is amazing and when I got my latest package from Kreativ Scrapping I was over the moon when I dragged them out!
Sooo beautiful.

Sooo I have made a few things with them. The first thing I want to show you is some quick made candy wrappers that I made for two wonderful twin girls ♥
Not often I have a project without a colored image on, but I think it looked quite nice like this too :)

Here they are.
One for each, holding three big lollipops inside :)
I have cut out their name with an old alphabet from Quic Kutz and covered it with Glossy accent.
The papers are so lovely and the most of the decorations are cut from one of the sheets.

Back of the bag.
Butterfly from Cheery Lynn and swirl from Marianne design
Buttons that you hardly can see here...lol

I have colored Seam binding with Distress Stains in Milled Lavender and Iced Spruce, two colors that goes perfect together with these papers

I have closed the bags with a clip from Kreativ Scrapping and put a charms in a chain from Tim Holtz

That was all from me today.
I'll be back tomorrow with a milkcarton that I made with Craft and these wonderful papers.

Bye for now my lovlies ♥

Bow Maker Tutorial

Good morning my friends!
Today I have a new card to show you and with this card I have a tutorial. Just a short presentation in how to make a perfect bow with the Bow Maker from Joy! Craft
You will find this tutorial in Norwegian at Kreativ Scrapping

This is what you need:
The Bow Maker comes with four sticks and these are the ones that decide how big your bow will end up. As closer to each other you put them, the smaller bow.

Hold your ribbon with left thumb and take the ribbon around both the sticks until the ends meet in front.

A picture without my fingers in the way...

Just put the upper end under the "bow" so it comes up in the back

Drag it over and tighten it a bit so you can see that it is looking nice in front.
(This is the back side)

Tie a simple knot

This is what it looks like when it's done, from behind

Perfect bow, ready to use!

This is a double bow made with white seambinding.
If you want to make a double or triple bow, just fold it two or three times around the sticks before you tie the knot.

A bow made with two different ribbons.

And here is the card I made with my bow.
Hope you like it!

I think she is wonderful!!
And I just LOVE my new MS punch ♥♥

The image comes from Sherri Baldy Art, a wonderful digistamp company that is quite new to me.
You find her Etsy shop here, so many gorgeous designs!
I have coloured the wonderful girl with my Copics in these colours:
Skin: E21-51-50 and E93 for her cheeks
Hair: E 55-53-51-50
Flowers and balloon: WR 24-23, Y35-32
Red details and her dress: T5, E19-07
Brown on dress and headband: E55-33-42
Glossy Accent on her glasses

Hope you survived all the photos and my poor english, lol
and thanks for visiting me, always a pleasure ♥

Colouring on manilla

Good morning and welcome to my blog this wonderful Valentines day ♥
In january Kreativ Scrapping sent the DT an extra challenge.
I was paired with Anne and we did our project together.
My job was to colour an image with Copic on a Manilla tag and Anne's job was to decorate the tag with no more than three Distress Stains/ink.
I thought I could share this little colouring session with you guys as I tok some photos along the way. Hope you find it useful

You will find the whole post in Norwegian at Kreativ Scrapping here, and Anne's result in english on her blog here.

When you are colouring on other surfaces than the ordinary Copic paper you may notice that the markers and colours behave a bit different. I always use darker colours then I colour on both Manilla tags and craft.
The other thing that is important is that the ink on the Manilla did dry faster, so I had to work a bit faster than on my ordinary paper. So if you aren't working that fast, take smaller sections at the time to avoid harch lines.
Ok, here we go ;)

The image is the wonderful "Bonny Tilda" from Magnolia.
She is stamped on a Manilla tag #8 with Memento black tuxedo ink

My choice of colours:
Skin: E23-21-51-50
Hair and bow: E77-74-71-70
At You Spica pen, Clear for the string and wings

Start by laying down a base with your E50 over the whole skin.
Remember that if you don't work so fast, you should take smaller sections at the time so the ink won't dry so much. Easier to blend it nice when the colours still are a bit wet.

Lay down your E23 where the shadows are deepest.
Under her arms, by the hair etc

Go half over your darkest colour with your next one, that is E21 and go a bit closer against the middle. Blend nice

Do the same thing with your next colour that is E51
I also used the E51 for her cheeks
Go over the rest of the motiv with the E50 and blend it in .
Repeat all the steps (except the E50 part in the beginning) if you want it a bit darker until you are satisfied with the depth.
Colour the bow and hair in the same way.
Lay down your base with E70 and then take E77-74-71-70
Use At you Spica on the string and wings.
Love these fine glitter pens, makes the loveliest shimmer ♥
Here she is my sweet Bonny Tilda, ready to be sent to Anne for the next step ♥

You want to see more of the end result???

Enjoy your day my friends
Hugs, Jill
