Heartbox, a tutorial

Good morning!
This post is made for Kreativ Scrapping, my favorite web shop ever!
In only a few days I will be heading south again to my Heaven on earth, Thailand. So I guess this will be the last post in a while ;)

I have made a heartbox for mothersday filled with yummy chocolate ♥
I am afraid the chocolate has disappeared and it looks like I have to buy my mother some new ones...

I made a step by step tutorial while I was doing it for you guys. I'm afraid I'm not the best boxmaker in the world, but I have really tried my best :)
Hope you find it useful

I have a favorite die from Marianne design (or I have a few, but this one is one of them!lol) and that is THIS heart die. I have used it a lot as decorations on my cards and for almost all of my Christmas gift tags. A great die, very versatile and I love that!

Here we go!
This is what you need:
Heartdies from Marianne Design. I used the two largest.
Bazzill and designpaper. I have used Magnolia's "Love postcards" ♥♥ Gorgeous!
Glue that holds everything in place. I ♥ my ATG...simply the best
Distress ink, Vintage Photo is my choice today and Ink tool
Cutboard and a score board if you have.
Sharp scissor.
Things to decorate your box and a textstamp if you like that

Cut two the biggest scalloped hearts out with Bazill and cut four smaller hearts in design paper.
Cut one piece Bazill 30 x 6 cm.

Score the long Bazill at 1.5cm. This one is your box walls :)

Distress all your edges.

Cut with your scissor like this.
Makes it a lot easier to fold the heart nice when you start to glue it together.

I did score my paper at 3 and 18 cm, to bend it easier.
Glue it to the scalloped heart with the ATG

Then I cut two small paperstrips, 1.5 x 5 cm and glued it under the designpaper at the top of the box.
Fasten it to the box and cover the box"walls" with dp

Ready to decorate!

And this is my box

Inside...
Can't understand who ate all the chocolate!

And this is the set I am giving my mother on mothersday today.
Hope she likes it ♥

Wishing you all a wonderful day!
