A tag with D'Arcy

Good morning!
After showing you the other day the card with the stamp from Kort og Godt that I made for the Norwegian magazine Ett Trykk, I thought I should show you the tag I made with the same image.
This time I paired it with a digi image from D'Arcy's Diaries that I have coloured with Copics

make quite a different look when you use the stamp as a background instead, but I really like this one too :)
Hopefully this has reached my friend when she sees this ;)

Have a wonderful day

An easelcard for D'Arcy's Diaries

Good morning friends :)
This card was really finished in a rush last night before I went to work, so I am sorry that the photos ain't the best... But I just wanted to show the card I made for the reminder at D'Arcy's Diaries as I think it turned out quite cute :)
This fortnight at D'Arcy's we are having our Anything Goes challenge and I really hope you will join us :)

I have used an older D'Arcy image for my card and I have paired the sweet image with my new Marianne Creatable die from Kreativ Scrapping and a tree dies also from Marianne Creatables.
The Oval Anja die can be found here and the tree you can find here
I made an easelcard this time and I think it looks ok even without any designpaper on the front as both the dies are just so beautiful!
The only decoration is some flowers from stash and a few pearls.

Coloured with Copics
Pearls from Storyteller, found here

Hope you like my card today
I have only one more nightshift before I have a whole week off again,

And of course my birthday...

Anything Goes at D'Arcy's Diaries

Good morning blogland :)
I have a new card to share with you today and I don't think I have made a blue card like this in ages, and I really like it :)

I have a lot of beautiful blue flowers from WOC and I just had to use them :)
The papers from Maja design fits almost everything and I just loooove them too!

We have a Anything Goes starting today at D'Arcy's Diaries and my card is made with one of the first D'Arcy's Diaries images and also one of my favorites.
This image is the one I coloured for the header of the blog in striking red, so this time I made her in blue and I like them both :)
 FAIRYD_TB_GIRL_02 found here
Coloured with Copics, added a TON of glitter...
Papers from maja design and some leftovers
Flowers WOC
Magnolia swirl
A fantastic pin made of a fantastic crafter and friend Susan
-You can buy your own in her Etsy shop here-
Lace and ribbon from Panduro
Wonderful sentiment strip and matching die from MFT....love them!

I think this image is gorgeous!
And while I was cleaning up my scraps in the evening I found this lovely bookmark I got in the mail by my sweet friend Tammy Louise and I thought I would make a bookmark to with the card. A perfect gift together with a book to a friend who has a hard time..

 This is my set :o)
The bookmark is one you can put a picture on the top if you like, but I'm not sure if my friend want a picture of me there so I just stamped the text on the dp and put under :)
But she can always change it with a picture of me or a hunky man,- her choice :o)..lol

The wonderful text inside the bookmark says:
-Be strong when everything seem to be going wrong-
Also from MFT

I printed out a tiny D'Arcy on the dp on the front to match the card even better and added some Prima bling,- my favorites and a charm from Hjerteboden.

I would love to enter my card and bookmark here:
Anonyme scrappere - 2 års jubileum :)
Lag 2 matchende ting og bruk brunt og hvitt og en valgfri farge (min er blå)
Scrap'a'long - flowers
Papertake weekly - anything goes
Mad for Markers - anything goes
Joanna sheen - try something new (my new bookmark)
Nordsalten Hobbyklubb - Anything goes
Creative inspirations - Anything goes
Crafts and me - Use a digi
Bearly mine- sparkle and shine

Sorry for another long list, but I just loves all these challenges!!

Have a wonderful day and I hope you will head over to D'Arcy's Diaries to check out my wonderful teamies work :)

Monochromatic

We are still having our Monochromatic challenge at D'Arcy's Diaries even if the boss is down with an infection and is missing in action!
Hopefully Gayle will find the way back to her laptop soon and change the linky at the challenge blog, but head over and take a look at the DT gorgeous creations and join the fun :)

I have made another birthday card for one of my friends with the lovely "Flower girl" image and this time I have made a pink card... Not often I do, even tho I love pink!

One of my favorite DD images, looks so dreamy standing there behind the fence...

I made the inside to compliment the front, but didn't take a picture of it as it was so little light inside and the photos so hard to take...

Image is D'Arcy's Diaries 064 found here
Coloured with Copics
Papers from Maja design
Magnolia swirl and Magnolia fence
Sentiment from Create with TLC
Flowers from my stash, a bit from here, a bit from there...
Charm from Kort og Godt saying Happy birthday

Enjoy your day my friends and thanks for the lovely comments you leave me, it means a lot to me!

A corner bookmark for D'Arcy's Diaries

Hi friends
I have made  a corner bookmark that was featured in the Complete Cardmaking magazine which is the UK's first magazine dedicated to digital crafting. It's published every two months, and each issue gives you a cd rom packed with craft kits and soft ware. The latest magazine gives you a lot of D'Arcy's Diaries images, uncoloured, pre coloured and some sentiments to go with them.
I have already showed you the card I made, but I made a bookmark too and both my creations made it into the magazine :)
Here you can see it together with a fantastic card that my friend Nicole did with one of the images:

This is the first time I am featured in a magazine and I think it is super fun :)

Fab image!
In the magazine there is a step by step description of how I have done it.

I have used some left overs papers from Pion design that, a bit of lace and some flowers.
A super quick project and a nice little gift to recieve together with a book

Have a nice day friends
Lots of hugs
Jill <3

I have been featured! Woohoo :)

A while ago some of the D'Arcy's Diaries and Teddy Bo DT members designed cards for Complete Cardmaking magazine. Our issue finally came out this month and as well as showcasing our cards, there are step by step instructions, and, the magazine comes with a free CD which contains all the digi stamps used as well as the coloured versions, papers and some word art. The disc also contains digi images and papers from some other companies too.
I made one card and a bookmark and I can't wait to get my own copy of it! :)
Here is the card I made
I think this card turned out very nice and I hope you like it too ;)

Tutorial, colouring white.

Good morning my friends!
First of all I have to remind my Norvegian readers about the summerchallenge at CMN, still some days to enter! Read about it here

I have made a tutorial for Copic Marker Norge and want to share it with you here today.
Earlier I found it very hard to colur white to make it look natural, but then I found this Copic combination and I just love it :)
I use E81 as my darkest, W0 as my middeltone and 0 blender to blend it smoth together.

I have used the beautiful new image from D'Arcy's Diaries for my tutorial today. This one is called Flower Girl and you find it here if you want your own :)

Isn't this a lovely image!

Here I have coloured my image except from the white areas that I will show you.
List of Copics on the end of post :)

Start to fill in your darkest areas with your E81.

Blend the E81 with your blender 0 without taking to much colour away. Just to remove some of the harch lines.

Go over again with your E81 and blend with your W0, and then go over with your blender.
You don't want to use to much colour, so be sure to stop in time! Otherwise the white will look only grey.

This is my finished image.
I have added some shadow around here just to make the image pop a bit.

I often use C3-1-0 for white too, but I prefere this one :) And I know some use the lightest blue colours too as white, B0000 and B60. Good combination if you are colouring a snowman for example.

Here is my list of Copics:
Skin: E21, 00,000, R 93 for rosy cheeks
Hair: E55, 53, 51, 50
Blue on flowers and dress: B97, 95, 93, 91
Green on the leafs: BG 96, 93, 90
Basket: E59, 57,55, 53
Shadow: BV 20 and C0

Will show you my finished card another day :)
Hope you liked this and I would love to hear your thoughts.

Have a wonderful day my friends
Big hugs, Jill
